Gianni Versace (Italian, 1946-1997) upholstered suite comprising a Knole sofa with two loose seat cushions, two Knole armchairs with loose seat cushions, two ottomans with removable fringed cushions, with two small fringed rectangular pillows, each armchair and the sofa with brass acorn finials, all upholstered in cotton velvet Versace "Wild Paisley" pattern. Note: The present lot sold at Sotheby's 'The Collection of Gianni Versace,' sale 7607, April 2001, lot 349, for $77,800. The set was previously in the salon at Versace's Casa Casuarina Palazzo in Miami. The sofa features prominently in the book "Gianni Versace Do Not Disturb," Abbeville Press Publishers, p. 245.
